The club celebrated the anniversary by doing one hundred of something every quarter to give back to the community. With the help of the Wal-Mart Foundation, the club was able to provide foster children with duffel bags, travel kits and personal hygiene products.
Pine Bluff Rotary also purchased sports items for Challenger Baseball, the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson County and the Salvation Army. Challenger Baseball is an organization that offers people with disabilities in the Pine Bluff area an opportunity to play sports.
The club supported the Area Agency on Aging’s annual fan drive during the club’s third quarter. One hundred 20-inch box fans were purchased and will be given to elderly individuals in need.
